We have expanded our hours and are looking for an RVT or a Veterinary Assistant to work on SATURDAYS. We are open from 11:00 am through 9:00 pm Monday-Friday and Saturday 10am-6pm.
Along with serving our client base, we work with local rescues which renders an environment with a mission beyond business. We strive to be a part of the greater good and contribute as an advocate for all walks of the veterinary and animal industry.
Our doctors enjoy and value mentorship and approachability along with practicing extraordinary veterinary medicine.

**Duties:** - Assist veterinarians in medical procedures and surgeries - Perform laboratory tests such as blood work and urinalysis - Administer medications and treatments as directed by veterinarians - Handle and restrain animals during examinations and procedures - Maintain accurate medical records for all patients - Educate pet owners on proper care and treatment plans - Monitor anesthesia during surgical procedures

**Experience:** - Experience in veterinary care - Proficiency in pet care techniques - Knowledge of veterinary dental terminology, scaling procedures, and dental radiography is a plus - Understanding of animal physiology - Familiarity with aseptic techniques in a veterinary setting - Skills in animal husbandry and care - Ability in dog training and handling - Knowledge of veterinary terminology

**Requirements:** - Strong and positive communication skills with both team members and pet owners - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail - Compassionate approach towards animals and their owners - Willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques and protocols
