Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinarian to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for animal care and welfare, with the ability to diagnose and treat a variety of animal health issues. This role requires excellent communication skills to interact with pet owners and provide them with guidance on their pets' health needs. The Veterinarian will work in a collaborative environment, ensuring the highest standard of care for all animals.

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough examinations of animals to assess their health status.
Diagnose and treat illnesses, injuries, and diseases in pets and livestock.
Perform surgical procedures as necessary, adhering to aseptic techniques.
Administer vaccinations and medications as prescribed.
Provide advice on pet care, nutrition, and preventive health measures to pet owners.
Maintain accurate medical records for all patients.
Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff to ensure efficient clinic operations.
Stay updated on advancements in veterinary medicine and participate in continuing education opportunities.

Skills

Strong knowledge of animal anatomy and physiology.
Proficient in veterinary terminology and animal husbandry practices.
Experience with animal restraint techniques for safe handling during examinations.
Familiarity with pet grooming practices is a plus.
Ability to provide compassionate care while managing stressful situations effectively.
Excellent communication skills for educating pet owners about their animals' health needs.
Knowledge of equine care is beneficial but not mandatory.
Commitment to maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Pay: $122,305.00 - $132,082.00 per year
