Busy small animal veterinary clinic in St. Catharines, ON is seeking a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) to join our team. This position is ideal for an RVT who is confident performing full RVT duties and wants to work in a fast-paced, hands-on clinical environment.

The successful candidate will be actively involved in patient care, anesthesia, dentistry, diagnostics, and surgery, including orthopedic procedures such as TPLO ,MPL

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Blood collection from dogs and cats
Placement of IV catheters
Intubation of dogs and cats
Anesthesia induction and monitoring
Assisting with soft tissue and orthopedic surgeries (including TPLO)
Dental scaling and polishing
Dental radiography
Digital radiography (X-rays)
Running in-house blood analyzers and urine analyzer
Patient monitoring and recovery care

Qualifications:

Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) licensed in Ontario or eligible for registration
Comfortable performing anesthesia, dental, and surgical nursing duties
Experience or interest in orthopedic surgery and TPLO preferred
Strong technical, organizational, and multitasking skills
Ability to thrive in a busy, high-volume clinic
