Ambulatory Veterinary Assistant

Are you passionate about horses and interested in veterinary medicine? We’re looking for a Veterinary Assistant to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone with solid horse handling experience and strong communication skills who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Position Overview:

Assist equine veterinarian during farm calls
Typical hours: 4 days per week, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Participates in rotating weekend and holiday on call schedule

What We’re Looking For:

Prior experience handling horses and a solid foundation in equine care
Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask
Strong communication skills and a team-first mindset
Physically capable of lifting 50 lbs
Professional, reliable, and eager to learn
