Uptown Animal Clinic is a new, privately owned facility bringing high-quality veterinary care to Uptown Saint John. Over the course of her 20-year career in veterinary medicine, our owner and lead veterinarian has seen and personally experienced burnout and compassion fatigue. These are areas we are committed to addressing.

Our Veterinary Assistants demonstrate

Responsibilities

Assisting veterinarian in exam rooms
Assisting RVT with tech appointments
Collecting and preparing lab samples for in-house analysis and outside lab submission
Educating clients on post-treatment care, medication administration, and preventive health measures
Maintaining up to date, accurate medical records using DaySmart
Helping to keep the clinic clean and safe for patients, clients, and staff

Pay: $16-19/hour

Schedule: Tuesday-Saturday, 9-hour shifts with 1 hour lunch break

No on-call or emergency shifts
