Nearby 24-hour emergency facilities and specialty centers- we do not provide on-call or after-hours care and can easily refer when needed

WHAT WE OFFER:

Full-time employment; currently open 8am-6pm Mon-Sat
Four 10-hour/day work week, but open to considering other options per your needs.

POSITION DETAILS:

Patient care for feline and canine patients in a multiple DVM practice
Possesses skills for work including vital/history taking, client education, treatment plan prep/review, dispensing/administration of pharmaceuticals, and ability to assist a veterinarian with outpatient care needs
Perform all laboratory in-hospital procedures and prepare specimens for outside laboratories
Maintain robust and legally defensible medical records in cooperation with the veterinary staff
Assist veterinarians in client follow-up via phone calls, emailing and texting regarding lab work, patient care and updates
Assist veterinarians and/or LVTs in anesthetized procedures if you have an interest in surgery and/or dentistry
Daily opening and closing procedures
Basic housekeeping

SALARY:

The base hourly range for this position is $20-28. Within the range, individual pay is determined by multiple factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
This position is also eligible for periodic bonuses.
