Mendon Village Animal Hospital is searching for a passionate and professional Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our family. We are a 2.5 DVM small animal practice and pride ourselves in providing high quality veterinary care for our patients. Duties:

Provide compassionate care to patients and clients
Assist veterinarians during examinations, surgeries, and treatments
Perform routine laboratory tests and diagnostic imaging, including radiographs
Administer medications, vaccinations, and treatments as prescribed by the veterinarian
Conduct animal restraint techniques to ensure the safety of both the animals and staff
Provide care for animals in the clinic
Maintain accurate digital medical records and documentation for each patient
Perform dental cleanings, including full mouth radiographs
Educate pet owners on proper animal husbandry, nutrition and preventive care
Administer anesthesia, monitor surgical patients, and provide postoperative care

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
