Job Overview: Veterinary Technician
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our team. Duties

Assist veterinarians during examinations, surgeries, and procedures.
Perform routine laboratory tests and analyze results.
Administer medications, vaccinations, and treatments as directed by the veterinarian.
Conduct animal restraint and catheterization for various procedures.
Maintain accurate medical records and documentation for each patient.
Provide client education on pet care, nutrition, and preventive health measures.
Handle animals safely and compassionately during examinations and treatments.
Utilize aseptic techniques during surgical procedures and laboratory work.
Monitor animal vital signs and overall condition during recovery from anesthesia.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the veterinary facility, including kennels.

Experience
Candidates should have prior experience in a veterinary setting or related field. Preferred qualifications include:

Veterinary technician experience with knowledge of veterinary terminology and animal physiology.
Familiarity with dental terminology and procedures related to animal dental care.
Experience in animal husbandry practices to ensure optimal care for animals.
Background in veterinary critical care or emergency situations is a plus.
Laboratory experience, including performing diagnostic tests such as blood work or urinalysis
