Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Veterinary Technician to join our compassionate veterinary team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our animal patients, supporting veterinarians, and ensuring a positive experience for pet owners. Duties

Assist veterinarians during examinations, surgeries, and procedures
Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as prescribed
Collect and process laboratory samples, perform diagnostic tests, and record results
Maintain accurate patient records and update medical histories
Prepare animals for surgery and monitor anesthesia during procedures
Provide client education on animal care, nutrition, and post-treatment instructions
Clean and sterilize surgical instruments and treatment areas to uphold hygiene standards
Support the overall operation of the veterinary clinic by managing inventory and supplies

Skills

Prior laboratory experience is highly desirable to efficiently handle diagnostic testing and sample processing
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with pet owners and team members
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Compassionate attitude towards animals and their owners
Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Knowledge of veterinary software systems for record keeping and appointment scheduling

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
