QUALIFICATIONS
Must be 21 years of age or older with a minimum of two years experience in animal husbandry or similar field required. Preference will be given to candidates who have zookeeper experience and/or currently pursuing a degree in animal care. Enthusiastic, friendly, with the ability to organize, plan and manage projects and clean in a timely manner. Excellent customer service and organizational skills with attention to detail are required. Must have a valid Illinois Driver’s License and be able to provide own transportation.

DUTIES
Under the direction and supervision of the Red Oak Facility Manager, the part-time Animal Caretaker is responsible for the care and maintenance of the animal ambassadors at the Red Oak Nature Center. This is an at-will position.
