Veterinary Assistant – Full-Time

We are currently seeking a Veterinary Assistant to join our growing team at Dog and Cat Clinic of Niagara. This is a full-time position in a friendly, supportive environment where you’ll work closely with experienced veterinarians and registered veterinary technicians.

Whether you already have experience or are eager to learn, we welcome motivated individuals who are passionate about animal care—we are happy to provide training.

What You’ll Do:

Assist veterinarians during patient examinations
Support technicians in preparing for surgeries (including orthopedic procedures)
Collect blood samples
Place IV catheters
Provide daily care and handling of patients
Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment

What We’re Looking For:

Passion for working with animals
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Willingness to learn and grow in a clinical setting
Previous experience is an asset, but not required
