About
I am a student at GVSU and I will be graduating this May with my BS in Biology with a pre-veterinary emphasis having achieved high honors. I have developed my skills as a student to learn quickly and study well, which has prepared me for the rigor of vet school as well as taking on new jobs in this field. Working at an animal shelter helped me learn a wide range of skills from animal handling and restraint to understanding body language and basic medical care. Volunteering at John Ball Zoo has allowed me to learn how to care for a variety of reptiles and amphibians as well as observe veterinary exams on these species. I am now looking for a job to prepare me for acceptance into veterinary school and further develop skills I will need for my future career.
