About
Experienced Clinical Research Professional with a strong foundation in animal science and a proven track record in clinical trial coordination and research operations. With a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science from California State University, Chico, and a career spanning veterinary care to human clinical research, I bring a unique, well-rounded perspective to the field.
Served as a Study Lead Manager/Supervisor at Clinical Research Prime in collaboration with Mountain View Hospital, where I led clinical study operations, ensured regulatory compliance with FDA and GCP guidelines, and facilitated cross-functional coordination between sponsors, investigators, and internal teams. This role built upon my prior experience as a Clinical Research Coordinator and Research Assistant, where I gained hands-on expertise in EDC systems, investigational product handling, patient interaction, and protocol adherence.
Before entering clinical research, I held various roles in veterinary and animal care, developing strong skills in surgical support, animal health monitoring, and client communications. This background strengthens my scientific approach and enhances my ability to manage complex workflows with attention to detail and compassion.
Key strengths include:
Clinical Research Operations: Trial coordination, protocol compliance, data quality, FDA/GCP adherence.
Veterinary & Animal Science Expertise: Health monitoring, lab testing, rehabilitation, patient care.
Cross-Functional Leadership: Staff training, sponsor liaison, interdisciplinary teamwork.
Technical Proficiency: EDC (Inform, iMedidata, Bioclinica), IRT systems (Suvoda, Medpace), and medical software (AVImark, IDEXX, Cerner).
Certifications: GCP, BLS, OSHA, Anaphylaxis Management, Dangerous Goods Shipping, among others.
I am now seeking to transition into a zookeeper role where I can return to my passion for animal care and conservation. I’m excited to bring my strong work ethic, attention to detail, and deep respect for animals to a team dedicated to wildlife education, health, and enrichment.
