About
Specialty: PhD of Ruminant (Dairy Cow) Nutrition, having worked and collaborated interdisciplinary with fellow professionals in e.g. Canada, the Netherlands, Australia, United Kingdom, Poland, Russia, Libya, and Iran I have enriched my skills and knowledge on the sustainability of dairy farming and ruminant nutrition. I have applied technological and scientific approaches such as in situ, in vitro and in vivo methods to measure animal nutritional behaviour, and production indicators to achieve production efficiencies, to improve animal welfare, and to protect environment. Experienced in supervision of undergraduate and graduate students, and guiding PhD students, laboratory analysis, conducting different types of animal experiments with focusing on production efficiency. Having ability in analysis of experimental data and scientific communication of research results. An example is including grinding versus steam flaking for dairy farming. Another example is adding monensin to lambs’ diet during the fattening as growth promoter and to manage acidosis.
Working experience: Over the past 21 years I have worked, taught, and mentored at institutes such as Wageningen University (Netherlands), Isfahan University of Technology, Kermanshah University of Medical Sciences, Razi University, Technical and Vocational Higher Education Institute, Dairy Farms, and Feed Companies. During these years, I have connected with and learned from my key stakeholders in the area of dairy farming, dairy nutrition, and research techniques.
