Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinarian to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in veterinary medicine, with a focus on providing high-quality care to animals. This role involves diagnosing and treating various animal health issues, performing surgeries, and educating pet owners on proper animal care. Duties

Conduct thorough examinations of animals to assess their health and diagnose medical conditions.
Administer vaccinations and medications as needed.
Perform surgical procedures and assist in emergency critical care situations.
Utilize veterinary terminology effectively while communicating with staff and pet owners.
Implement proper animal handling techniques to ensure safety for both animals and staff.
Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of treatments provided.
Educate pet owners on animal husbandry, nutrition, and preventive care practices.
Provide guidance on pet grooming and hygiene practices to enhance overall animal well-being.
Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff to ensure efficient clinic operations.
Stay updated on advancements in veterinary medicine through continuous education.

Requirements

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited institution.
Veterinary critical care experience is highly desirable.
Proficiency in animal anatomy, physiology, and handling techniques.
Familiarity with aseptic techniques and laboratory procedures is beneficial.
Experience with dog handling, animal restraint, and catheterization preferred.
Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with clients and team members.
Commitment to providing compassionate care for all animals under your supervision.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $200,000.00 - $300,000.00 per year
