Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinarian to join our team. Duties
- Conduct thorough examinations of animals to assess their health and diagnose medical conditions.
- Administer vaccinations and medications as needed.
- Perform surgical procedures and assist in emergency critical care situations.
- Utilize veterinary terminology effectively while communicating with staff and pet owners.
- Implement proper animal handling techniques to ensure safety for both animals and staff.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of treatments provided.
- Educate pet owners on animal husbandry, nutrition, and preventive care practices.
- Provide guidance on pet grooming and hygiene practices to enhance overall animal well-being.
- Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff to ensure efficient clinic operations.
- Stay updated on advancements in veterinary medicine through continuous education.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited institution.
- Veterinary critical care experience is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in animal anatomy, physiology, and handling techniques.
- Familiarity with aseptic techniques and laboratory procedures is beneficial.
- Experience with dog handling, animal restraint, and catheterization preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with clients and team members.
- Commitment to providing compassionate care for all animals under your supervision.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $200,000.00 - $300,000.00 per year
