Join our dynamic veterinary team as an Associate Veterinarian specializing in small animal care! Responsibilities

Conduct thorough examinations and diagnose health issues in small animals, including dogs, cats, and other companion pets.
Perform surgical procedures ranging from routine spays and neuters to emergency surgeries with precision and care.
Administer vaccinations, medications, and treatments based on veterinary best practices.
Utilize veterinary terminology accurately to communicate diagnoses and treatment plans clearly to pet owners.
Handle animals safely using proper restraint techniques, ensuring comfort and minimizing stress during examinations or procedures.
Maintain detailed medical records following aseptic techniques and veterinary standards.
Assist with laboratory testing, sample collection, and interpretation of results to support accurate diagnoses.
Provide pet grooming, animal husbandry, and basic pet care advice to clients for ongoing health maintenance.
Manage critical care situations by applying veterinary critical care experience when stabilizing injured or ill animals.
Support animal catheterization procedures and maintain sterile environments during surgeries or treatments.
Demonstrate knowledge of animal physiology and anatomy to inform effective treatment strategies.
Handle animals with compassion and professionalism, including dog handling and general animal husbandry tasks.
Educate pet owners on proper animal care, nutrition, behavioral issues, and preventive health measures.

Skills

Proven veterinary experience with a focus on small animals
Strong animal handling skills with proficiency in restraint techniques for various species.
In-depth understanding of veterinary terminology, animal physiology, and anatomy.
Experience with laboratory procedures and diagnostic testing methods.
Ability to perform aseptic techniques during surgeries and invasive procedures.
Skilled in pet grooming, pet care advice, and basic animal husbandry practices.
Critical care expertise for managing emergency cases effectively.
Knowledge of animal catheterization procedures and laboratory sample collection.
Excellent communication skills to explain complex medical information clearly to pet owners.
