Harewood Pet Hospital is a locally owned, family-run veterinary clinic in Nanaimo’s Harewood/University District (508 Eighth Street). We provide comprehensive care for dogs and cats in a calm, respectful setting.

About the Role

You are the first smile, the calm voice, and the steady presence that supports both clients and our medical team.
In this role, you will:

No veterinary experience? That’s okay — we train.

Experience in any customer service, medical/dental reception, or a busy front desk is a strong asset.

Someone who:

Position & Compensation

Permanent full-time or part-time.
On-site only.
Brand new clinic with clear opportunities for growth into more senior roles over time.
Clinic hours designed for balance, not burnout.
Smart Scheduling (predictable, structured shifts).
Starting at $18/hr for entry-level candidates, with higher wages for experience.
Structured 3-month salary review and growth pathway.
