As the Finance Manager, you will provide financial leadership, insights and critical support to the Benelux region, ensuring that our day-to-day operations and projects are financially sound and strategically aligned with BU ECA. Some of your key responsibilities will include supporting teams in developing value propositions, acting as a financial guide on projects, managing planning and reporting for the departments, and collaborating with other financial and business controllers to further integrate the financial processes of Nutreco’s Benelux region.
This region is a complex and dynamic operation, which consists of Netherlands, Belgium and France and 2 manufacturing plants.This position will report directly to the Finance Director Business Unit ECA and dotted line to the Country Manager Benelux.
About The Role
Responsibilities:
Financial Strategy & Planning: Develop and implement a financial strategy and annual plans aligned with divisional goals and corporate guidelines.
Control & Compliance: Ensure accurate financial reporting, budgeting, risk management, and compliance with local tax and administrative regulations.
Business Partnering: Provide proactive financial advice to various stakeholders and analysis to support strategic decision-making and minimize financial risks.
Leadership & Team Development: Lead, develop, and structure the finance team to meet current and future business needs.
Act as a strategic partner to the Country Manager and the country team, contributing to overall business performance and continuity.
Skills and Expertise
Qualifications:
At least 5 to 10 years' experience in a similar role.
Must have costing / controlling experience within manufacturing environments.
Demonstrated ability to interface with key stakeholders and lead transformation projects through people in a matrix organization.
Demonstrated management experience with strong focus on people development.
Strong communication and project management skills.
Large investment projects, internal compliance and/or audit background will be strongly preferred.
