Trouw Nutrition is seeking a Key Account Manager – Integrator & B2B for our Western Canada Team (Alberta or Manitoba preferred). In this role, you'll drive growth and manage strategic relationships with high-value swine integrators and B2B customers. You'll be the primary commercial contact, aligning customer needs with our solutions in feed, additives, and digital tools. This role is crucial within the Trouw Nutrition North America team, combining sector expertise, consultative sales, and key account management to fuel sustainable growth. You'll collaborate with procurement, nutrition, pricing, and operations to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

Responsibilities:
- Key Account Management & Growth: Manage high-value swine integrators and B2B customers. Develop and execute strategic plans. Drive volume, margin, and market share growth.
- Customer Engagement & Retention: Build trusted relationships. Conduct regular business reviews. Champion customer needs internally.
- Commercial Execution: Coordinate commercial and pricing strategies. Collaborate with internal teams. Drive innovation adoption.
- Market Intelligence & Strategy: Monitor market developments and competitor activities. Share insights for product development and business planning.
- Internal Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with manufacturing, supply chain, and customer service teams. Support forecasting, sales planning, and budgeting.
Skills and Expertise
Qualifications:
- Education: Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science, (Agri-)Business, Veterinary Medicine, or related field.
- Experience: 5–8 years in commercial or key account management within animal nutrition, feed manufacturing, or integrated livestock production. Proven success in managing large B2B accounts in the swine sector.
- Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the swine industry or know-how of integrated production models in Canada and the U.S.
- Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated experience with CRM platforms, Microsoft Office Suite, and data visualization tools such as Power BI.
Expectation from the Role:
- Key Account Management: Strategic planning, customer segmentation, stakeholder mapping, consultative selling, team management.
- Relationship Management: Build trusting relationships, influence stakeholders, and manage complex negotiations.
- Business Acumen: Understand financial metrics, supply chains, and value-based selling.
- Adaptability: Comfortable in dynamic markets; open to change and learning.
- Communication: Tailor messages for various audiences, from barn-level to boardroom.
- Team Collaboration: Work well in cross-functional teams to create customer value.
- Expect 20% travelling across Western Canada (AB, SK and MB).
