Veterinary medicine is hard. The days are long, the work is demanding emotionally and physically, and it’s not always pretty. But for the right person—someone with grit, heart, and a strong work ethic—this job is incredibly rewarding.

We’re looking for someone who shows up, has a good attitude, and wants to be here—even when it’s hard. Someone who takes ownership, jumps into the day’s challenges, and finds solutions instead of excuses. You don’t have to know everything—we’re happy to train the right person—but you do need to care and stay engaged.

Job details:

Full-time (4-day workweek)
Rotating on-call shifts (evenings/weekends for hospitalized/emergency patients)
Rotating Saturday shifts
Work hours typically 7am–6pm-ish (real vet med isn’t a 9–5 gig)
Tasks include patient handling, cleaning, labwork, surgical assistance, radiology, client communication, and more—you will not be bored

Bonus points if you:

Have previous vet assistant or tech experience or know how to draw blood, place catheters, take X-rays, or monitor anesthesia.
Are great with people (clients AND coworkers)
Don’t panic in a crisis
Can find things to do without being micromanaged
