Welcome to Waldo Animal Clinic!
We are a small animal practice located in the village of Waldo Ohio. Waldo Animal Clinic has been an essential part of the community for over 60 years. We are a very busy practice that strives to keep up with current modern medicine. We currently have 2 full time veterinarians and 1 part time veterinarian, and multiple support staff members. We are looking to add another enthusiastic , hard working technician to our staff. Our technicians work 4 weekdays 8 am - 5 pm (Full Time) and 2-3 weekdays (Part Time) and every other to every 3rd Saturday 8 am - noon. Our technicians are an essential part of our team and we rely on their excellent technical skills for our patient care.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Provide compassionate patient care by monitoring animal health and behavior.
- Assist veterinarians during examinations and procedures, ensuring proper animal restraint.
- Administer medications and perform routine veterinary tasks, including catheterization.
- Maintain accurate medical records and communicate findings to the veterinary team.
- Educate pet owners on proper care and health management for their animals.
Qualifications include
- Veterinary technician license and registration
- Strong knowledge of veterinary terminology and animal physiology
- Proficiency in animal handling and restraint techniques
- Experience with animal catheterization and pet care
- Familiarity with dental terminology and animal husbandry
- Ability to provide critical care and support in a veterinary setting
- Experience with laboratory procedures and X-Ray technology
