Job Description: Our client is seeking an experienced Equine Veterinarian to join their specialist team at a leading equine hospital in Bendigo. This position can be offered on a seasonal or permanent basis and provides a mix of hospital-based and ambulatory work. The role involves a varied caseload of surgical, medical, reproductive, and neonatal care, supported by a team of experienced surgeons and reproductive specialists.
Qualifications Needed:
- Bachelor of Veterinary Science or equivalent recognised in Victoria
- Experience in equine hospital and ambulatory practice, preferably in a stud environment
- Confidence in reproductive work, lameness cases, and general equine medicine
- Strong teamwork skills with a commitment to client communication
- Willingness to participate in after-hours rotations during breeding season
