About the role:
About this role The Student Pathways and Careers Division is responsible for providing pathways to future training and employment for South Australian school students. It is also tasked with leading reforms to existing Department programs and services to boost apprenticeships and improve job outcomes through the promotion of technical qualifications, best practice career guidance for students and flexible apprenticeship pathways.
The VET Quality and Capability team lead VET for school students, providing expert advice and guidance to support the delivery of high quality VET. This role is substantial in the development and implementation of strategies that continually improve the quality of VET delivered to school students.
The role will support preferred provider RTOs working with government schools to meet the policy and quality framework requirements. This role will work closely with staff across the Division to provide robust information about the current VET environment.
Qualifications:
Essential: Nil.
Desirable: Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
Special conditions:
The successful applicant is required to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior to being employed which is required to be renewed every five years before expiry. The incumbent will be required to undertake RRHAN –EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education Care) Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course or the online (Fundamentals) course which will be required to be updated every three years.

Remuneration:
ASO7 $108,109 - 116,864 per annum (1.0 FTE) + superannuation (12%) and leave loading
