We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our clients and their pets, providing exceptional customer service while managing the front desk operations of our veterinary clinic. This role requires a love for animals, strong communication skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Greet clients and their pets with a warm and friendly demeanor.
- Schedule appointments and manage the clinic's calendar efficiently.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality.
- Provide information to clients regarding pet care, services offered, and veterinary procedures.
- Manage incoming calls, emails, and inquiries in a professional manner.
- Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and welcoming for clients.
Skills
The ideal candidate should possess a combination of the following skills:
- General veterinary experience to understand clinic operations comprehensively.
- Knowledge of veterinary terminology to communicate effectively with staff and clients alike.
- Passion for pet care that reflects in daily interactions with clients and their pets.
- Familiarity with Cornerstone software can set you apart from other candidates.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
