Job Description:

As a Veterinary Technician, you will be an integral part of our clinical team, performing a variety of tasks aimed at ensuring the health and comfort of our patients. This position requires strong technical skills, compassion, and the ability to work collaboratively in a busy yet caring environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist veterinarians with exams, procedures, and surgeries
Perform diagnostic tests, such as blood work, radiographs, and urinalysis
Monitor anesthesia and provide post-operative care
Administer medications and vaccinations as prescribed
Educate clients on general pet care and preventative health
Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
Ensure a clean, organized, and safe environment for both patients and staff
Provide emotional support to clients during difficult moments

Qualifications:

Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) in good standing or prior experience in a veterinary clinic setting
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Passion for animal care and a compassionate, patient-centered approach
Ability to work independently as well as part of a cohesive team
