Incline Veterinary Hospital is seeking a Veterinary Hospital Manager to help guide our practice forward in beautiful Incline Village, Nevada. This unique role blends leadership and patient care, offering the opportunity to split your time between clinical responsibilities and hospital operations. We’re looking for a hands-on leader who leads by example, fosters collaboration, and brings out the best in others.
The ideal candidate is confident in managing teams, skilled in communication, and brings emotional intelligence and professionalism to every interaction. You’ll work closely with our Medical Director and department leads to ensure smooth daily operations, team cohesion, and continued hospital growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team & Culture Leadership: Support department leads, build strong working relationships, and foster a positive, inclusive, and team-oriented environment.
- HR & People Management: Oversee staffing, training, development, and performance feedback while supporting a healthy team dynamic.
- Hospital Operations: Coordinate scheduling, inventory, and compliance efforts. Balance clinical duties with administrative oversight.
- Financial Oversight: Contribute to budgeting, payroll, and financial tracking. Business skills are helpful and can be developed with support.
- Client Engagement: Support positive client experiences through communication, service standards, and issue resolution.
- Strategic Partnership: Collaborate with the Medical Director and leadership team to identify opportunities for growth and implement long-term goals.
Schedule, benefits and compensation**:
This is a full-time position with flexible availibility required based on business needs.
- Compensation: $34-42 per hour, for each hour worked*
- Quarterly bonus opportunities: Based on hospital performance
- Hiring bonus package: Up to $2000 based on experience and credentials
- CE allowance: up to $1,000 based on credentials

Your Qualifications:
- Clinical experience in a veterinary setting; able to support appointments, surgical prep, and nursing care
- Background in leadership or administration within a veterinary or healthcare environment
- Ability to coach and support team members while navigating varied personalities and situations with poise
- Collaborative leadership style with strong communication and follow-through
- Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) strongly preferred
- CVPM or similar credentials are a plus, but not required
