Job Title: Veterinary Receptionist
Responsibilities:
- Greet clients and their pets in a friendly and professional manner
- Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar
- Answer phone calls and address client inquiries or concerns
- Check-in and check-out clients and their pets
- Collect and process payments for services rendered
- Maintain accurate client records and update information as necessary
- Assist with filing, organizing paperwork, and maintaining office supplies
- Coordinate with veterinary staff to ensure smooth workflow and efficient patient care
- Provide support to veterinarians and veterinary technicians as needed
Skills:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and their pets
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient computer skills, including knowledge of veterinary software systems
- Ability to handle difficult or emotional situations with empathy and professionalism
- Knowledge of pet grooming and dog training is a plus
