Job Description: Our client is seeking an Overnight Emergency Veterinarian to join their AAHA-accredited, 24/7 emergency and critical care hospital serving the Milwaukee community. With over a decade of service, this hospital is well established in handling complex cases for dogs, cats, and exotics. The facility features two surgical suites, a special procedures room, advanced imaging including ultrasound, digital radiography and endoscopy, and a dedicated ICU equipped with oxygen therapy, temperature-controlled support, and advanced monitoring.
In this position, your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering high-quality care to emergency and critical cases across small animals and exotics
- Working overnight shifts to manage urgent and intensive caseloads
- Collaborating with skilled colleagues across multiple disciplines
- Maintaining strong communication with pet owners during high-stress situations
- Accurately documenting and managing patient records in a fast-paced setting
