Duties

Conduct thorough examinations of animals to assess their health and diagnose any conditions.
Administer vaccinations and medications as prescribed.
Perform surgical procedures with precision and adherence to aseptic techniques.
Provide emergency care and critical care management for animals in need.
Educate pet owners on proper animal husbandry, nutrition, and preventive health care.
Maintain accurate medical records and documentation for each patient.
Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff to ensure optimal patient care.
Stay updated on advancements in veterinary medicine and participate in continuing education.

Skills

Proficient in veterinary critical care practices to manage acute conditions effectively.
Strong knowledge of animal anatomy, physiology, and veterinary terminology.
Experience with aseptic techniques to ensure safe surgical procedures.
Familiarity with animal husbandry practices to promote overall animal well-being.
Ability to provide comprehensive animal care, including grooming and routine health assessments.
Competence in laboratory procedures for diagnostics and treatment planning.
Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with pet owners and team members.
A passion for pet care that drives a commitment to improving the lives of animals.
