Overview
We are seeking a dedicated, experienced, high volume spay and neuter Veterinary Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal care and possess the skills necessary to assist veterinarians in providing high-quality medical care to pets. This role is essential in ensuring the health and well-being of animals while also providing support to pet owners.

Duties

Assist veterinarians during examinations and surgical procedures.
Administer medications and vaccinations as directed by the veterinarian.
Prepare animals for surgery, including induction, intubation, monitoring anesthesia and recovery.
Maintain accurate medical records for each patient.
Provide education to pet owners on post operative care.
Utilize aseptic techniques to ensure a sterile environment during procedures.
Handle and restrain animals safely during examinations and treatments.
Participate in continuing education to stay updated on veterinary practices.

Qualifications

Previous experience as a Veterinary Technician or in a similar role is preferred.
Knowledge of animal physiology and veterinary critical care is essential..
Strong skills handling are beneficial for patient management.
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
A commitment to providing compassionate care for all animals.

Pay: $200.00 - $300.00 per day
