We’re hiring a Maintenance & Reliability Manager in Roy, WA. In this role you would be focused on ensuring equipment and systems perform consistently to reduce breakdowns, extend asset life and streamline maintenance. In this role, you will be leading a maintenance team of 5-6 employees while leading the charge on cap-ex projects. Our ideal candidate brings strong leadership as well as prior project management such as developing CMMS systems and inventory management.

What you will do...
- Oversee day to-day maintenance and reliability of processing facilities by leading the maintenance team and communicating cross-functionally with Operations Managers
- Maintain a full understanding of processing and facility equipment to support and manage the Maintenance team (56 employees)
- Develop and maintain a structured parts inventory process/system
- Enhance and maintain preventative maintenance programs
- Assist in project management of Capital investment projects Example: Liquid egg separation, 3rd Line HCP, Ammonia to Freon refrigeration conversion
- Project manage operation and maintenance task and projects Example: Listeria prevention program HCP, Yield improvements EBP and HCP
- Develop and implement processing standards and sanitation standards
- Focus on lean manufacturing practices and processes to make improvements
- Maintain and monitor Employee Safety Programs
- Support Quality assurance Programs
- Be trained to be back up supervisor of all processing facilities
What You Will Bring...
- 5+ years of management experience in a processing or manufacturing environment
- Strong working knowledge of production equipment, maintenance, and sanitation standards
- Experience leading and developing a team of employees
- Demonstrated understanding of lean manufacturing principles and implementation
- Knowledge of preventative maintenance programs and parts inventory management
- Familiarity with safety programs and regulatory compliance
- Experience supporting or managing capital improvement projects
- Ability to collaborate across departments, including maintenance, operations, and quality assurance
- Understanding of food safety and quality programs, including HACCP, GMPs, and Listeria prevention
