Job description
As the Transportation & Hatchery Systems Monitor in our Beresford, SD Turkey Hatchery, you will report to the Transportation Manager. This position is an Overnight work shift monitoring all transportation loads. You are the first point of contact for overnight deliveries. You will direct communication and troubleshooting with drivers, perform remote monitoring of hatchery equipment and address alarms as needed. In this role a high level of organizational skills, communication and attention to detail are required.
Hours of Work
7:00pm to 5:30am 4 nights per week Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday
Approximately 40 hours per week
What are your main tasks and responsibilities?
· First point of contact for overnight deliveries
· Direct communication and troubleshooting with drivers
· Remote monitoring of hatchery equipment and address alarms
Various administrative functions related to transportation services.
Your Profile
- College diploma in office and/or business administration
- 2 – 3 years of experience
- Superior interpersonal & communication skills
- High level of planning, organization, and time management
- Confidential & diplomatic in dealings with people at all level
- Customer service mindset
- Ability to work with short deadlines and frequent changes
