Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Veterinary Technician/Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will be working alongside the Veterinarian, providing exceptional patient care and client education. The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills and a passion for delivering top-notch client services.

Responsibilities

Obtain patient vitals and detailed history based on each patient and reason for their visit.
Assist with sedated procedures, surgeries, dental prophylaxis, and diagnostic imaging.
Conduct laboratory tests using Idexx equipment. Preparing and reading fecal floats, ear cytology, and blood smears.
Monitor vital signs, administer medications, fill prescriptions, clean and sterilize surgical instruments.
Educate clients on post operative care, medication administration, preventative health measures, and vaccine protocols.
Perform blood draws, place IV catheters, and administer injections.
Maintain accurate medical records.
Experience working with Avimark software is preferred.
Hourly pay based on experience.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
