Job Description: Our client is searching for a Medical Director to lead their AAHA-accredited hospital in Benicia. The practice is equipped with four exam rooms, a dedicated surgery suite, ultrasound, digital radiography, mobile dental x-ray, and advanced monitoring equipment. With two experienced doctors, three RVTs, and a supportive team of eight staff members, you’ll step into a collaborative environment focused on patient care and community trust.
In this position, your responsibilities will include:
- Providing clinical leadership and mentorship to the veterinary team
- Maintaining and updating medical standards and protocols
- Performing surgeries, dentistry, and diagnostic procedures
- Managing small animal caseloads in both preventive and urgent care cases
- Developing strong client relationships built on communication and trust
