Stiles Farms, a family-owned, fourth-generation farm in
Marianna, Arkansas, growing over 4,000 acres of cotton, peanuts, and soybeans. We strive to be good stewards of the land with conservation practices and aim to maximize technology for efficient operations. Over 90% of our land is irrigated for optimal yields.
We are seeking a dedicated
Farm Manager to join our team in Marianna, AR. As the current owner plans to gradually reduce his hours, this role is crucial for ensuring the continuity and success of our family farm. In this hands-on management role, you will collaborate closely with the owner to manage all farming operations and lead a team of up to 6 employees. You will oversee field operations, including planting, growing, and harvesting, and manage irrigation systems while implementing agronomic practices for good crop health and yield goals. During the off-season, you will be responsible for maintaining and servicing equipment, as well as planning and preparing for the upcoming planting season. This position requires a proactive and organized individual who is passionate about agriculture and committed to maintaining the farm’s legacy.

Our Ideal Candidate Brings - Experience in farming ideally with cotton
- Knowledge of irrigation (pivot and poly pipe)
- Proficiency in operating and maintaining farm equipment and adhering to safety standards.
- Willingness to learn (i.e.: efficiencies in the operation)
Focus Areas: - Lead field operations including planting, irrigation, spraying, scouting, and harvesting of a variety of crops
- Coordinate with local ag retail to determine input recommendations
- Ensure equipment is maintained and perform light maintenance and troubleshooting
- Assist with crop planning and leading seasonal H2A employees
- Maximize precision ag technology and analyze crop data to inform decisions
- Assist in all areas of the farm as needed
Description of Area: Lee County is located approximately 60 miles south of Memphis, TN with the Mississippi River bordering the east side. It is in the heart of the Arkansas Delta and offers an abundant habitat for hunting and fishing. On the east side of the county is Bear Creek Lake which is included in the St. Francis National Forrest and the Mississippi River State Park.
