As part of a wider succession plan, this role is key to building a progressive leadership team that will drive the next phase of growth.\r\n\r\n\t\r\n\tThis is an important position where you will manage the sales team, provide significant input into the commercial strategy and lead the way on the company’s technical sales approach and commitment to high quality customer service.\r\n\r\n\t\r\n\tAs Ruminant Technical Sales Manager, there will be three main elements to your role:\r\n\r\n\t\r\n\tTeam Leadership: Manage and support the ruminant sales team, ensuring high performance and continuous development.\r\n\r\n\t\r\n\tCommercial: Drive commercial decisions, including key account management, sales growth, pricing decisions, and long-term strategy.\r\n\r\n\t\r\n\tTechnical: Collaborate with clients and internal teams to develop feed formulations and provide technical advice.\r\n\r\n\t\r\n\tThe ideal candidate for this position will have a strong understanding of ruminant nutrition accompanied with previous sales and people management experience.\r\n\r\n\t\r\n\tRole & responsibilities:\r\n\r\n\t\r\n\t\tManagement of ruminant sales team\r\n\t\r\n\t\tProvide training and support to team\r\n\t\r\n\t\tWorking closely with directors on sales strategy\r\n\t\r\n\t\tProduct pricing\r\n\t\r\n\t\tKey account management\r\n\t\r\n\t\tRuminant nutrition advice\r\n\t\r\n\t\tFeed formulation\r\n\t\r\n\t\tRepresent the company at industry events\r\n\r\n\r\n\t\r\n\tAbout you:\r\n\r\n\t\r\n\t\tProven sales experience in the feed sector\r\n\t\r\n\t\tStrong commercial acumen\r\n\t\r\n\t\tLeadership and people management skills\r\n\t\r\n\t\tExtensive knowledge of ruminant nutrition\r\n\t\r\n\t\tFormulation experience\r\n\t\r\n\t\tAble to commute to and have regular presence in the Midlands office\r\n\r\n\r\n\t\r\n\tThe package:\r\n\r\n\t\r\n\t\tGenerous salary (Reflective of experience)\r\n\t\r\n\t\tBonus\r\n\t\r\n\t\tCompany car\r\n\t\r\n\t\tPension\r\n\r\n
