Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care for animals while assisting veterinarians in various procedures. This position requires a strong understanding of veterinary terminology, animal physiology, and hands-on experience with animal handling and care.

Duties

Assist veterinarians during examinations and surgical procedures.
Perform laboratory tests and analyze results to aid in diagnosis.
Administer medications, vaccinations, and treatments as directed by veterinarians.
Monitor animal health and behavior, providing critical care when necessary.
Maintain accurate medical records and documentation for each animal.
Utilize aseptic techniques during surgical procedures to prevent infection.
Provide pet grooming services as needed, ensuring the comfort and cleanliness of animals.
Educate pet owners on proper animal care, nutrition, and training techniques.
Handle animals safely and effectively, employing proper restraint techniques during examinations or treatments.
Support kennel operations by maintaining cleanliness and organization within the facility.

Experience
Candidates should possess the following skills and experiences:

Previous veterinary technician experience is required.
Familiarity with veterinary terminology, animal anatomy, and physiology.
Experience in dog handling, animal husbandry, and pet care practices.
Knowledge of dental terminology related to veterinary practices.
Background in veterinary critical care or laboratory work.
Proficiency in animal catheterization and restraint techniques.
