Job Description: Associate Veterinarian
We are looking for a compassionate Associate Veterinarian to join our team. In this role, you'll receive mentorship from experienced veterinarians, focusing on both technical efficiency and emotional growth. You'll be supported by a well-trained, dedicated support staff to help provide excellent care for our patients and build your skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality veterinary care for a variety of animals, including diagnosis, treatment, and surgical procedures.
- Collaborate with a team of experienced veterinarians to ensure excellent patient care and treatment outcomes.
- Communicate effectively with clients, providing clear explanations of diagnoses, treatment options, and aftercare instructions.
- Work closely with a trained and fully staffed team of credentialed veterinary technicians, veterinary assistants, customer service representatives, and support staff to deliver comprehensive care.
- Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with hospital protocols and industry standards.
- Stay up to date with advancements in veterinary medicine through continuous learning, seminars, and case discussions with colleagues.
- Provide compassionate care to patients and offer guidance to clients on preventive health and wellness.
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree from an accredited institution.
- State licensure (or eligibility for licensure) to practice veterinary medicine.
- Current DEA registration (or eligibility for registration)
- A passion for animals and a commitment to providing exceptional veterinary care.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset to work effectively with a team.
- A willingness to learn, grow, and receive constructive feedback from experienced mentors.
