Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinarian to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for animal care and welfare, providing high-quality medical treatment to a variety of animals. This role requires a commitment to the health and well-being of pets, along with the ability to communicate effectively with pet owners about their animals' health needs. This is a great opportunity to work for a non corporation, family oriented Veterinarian practice. Those interested in eventual ownership are also welcomed.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough examinations of animals to assess their health status and diagnose any medical conditions.
- Administer vaccinations, medications, and treatments as needed.
- Perform surgical procedures, dentals and assist in emergency care situations.
- Maintain accurate medical records for each patient, documenting treatments and progress.
- Educate pet owners on proper care, nutrition, and preventive health measures for their animals.
- Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff to ensure efficient clinic operations.
- Stay updated on advancements in veterinary medicine and participate in continuing education opportunities.
Skills
- Experienced Veterinarians and non grads welcomed.
- Familiarity with Laboratory procedures for conducting tests and analyzing result
- We are a small animal practice , opportunities to work with exotics are also available
