What You Will Do:
- Repair / trouble shoot machines as they break down.
- Perform preventative maintenance (PM) on a daily basis.
- Complete work orders
- Follow all safety rules and procedures.
- Follow all food safety rules and procedures.
- Keep tools, hands and their work areas clean to prevent cross contamination.

What You Need:
- Must be legally entitled to work for Cargill in Canada.
- Cargill requires that employees be a minimum of 18 years old.
- Possess journeyman certificate or equivalent (Ie. Certified Heavy Duty Mechanic, Certified Automotive Mechanic).
- Ability to work holidays, nights, weekends or different shifts.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Aerial platform certification.
- Forklift mechanic experience.
- Knowledge of electric and propane mobile equipment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in production-related work.
- Able to perform maintenance trades, including welding, pipe fitting, and fabrication, rigging systems, gearbox and bearing, maintenance, lubrication, pumps and piping systems, mechanical maintenance, hydraulic and pneumatic.
