Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Admin/HR Manager to oversee the daily operations of our veterinary facility. The ideal candidate will possess a background in animal care and management, ensuring that our hospital provides the highest quality of service to both our patients and their owners. This role requires leadership skills, an understanding of veterinary practices, and a passion for animal welfare.
This is a non corporate position, the candidate will be working closely the owners of the practice and current management. The focus of this role will be admin, HR, Staff & Client Care.
Responsibilities
- Cooperate in the daily operations of the veterinary hospital, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality patient care.
- Supervise and train staff where applicable, fostering a positive work environment that promotes teamwork and professional development.
- Oversee medical collections and maintain accurate financial records related to patient care.
- Ensure compliance with all health regulations and standards for animal care.
- Manage client relations, addressing concerns promptly and professionally to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Stay updated on veterinary terminology, procedures, and best practices to effectively lead the team.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a veterinary setting with knowledge of animal husbandry.
- Familiarity with medical collection processes is preferred.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and staff members.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Pay: $28.53-$64.19 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 50 per week
