STARTING SALARY
Based on classification and pay plan for Classified employees:
Grade 18 $16.94 hourly
SCOPE:
To care for living organisms in the Aqualab facility on a daily basis, as well as plan and implement learning
experiences for students related to the program.
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION AND RELEVANT EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:REQUIRED:
High School diploma or equivalent required.
Knowledge of Florida Department of Agriculture & Consumer Services.
Experience with use of spreadsheets and word processing.
PREFERRED/DESIRED:
Associate of Arts/Associate of Science Degree or Sixty (60) hour equivalent from an
accredited educational institution.
Experience with maintenance and operation of aqua science life support equipment, fish
tanks, water quality, gardening and/or hydroponic systems.
Experience organizing schedules.
Experience with State Division of Aquaculture License reporting and documentation.
CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES:REQUIRED:
Valid States Drivers License.
