\r\n\t \r\n\r\n\tOur client, a leading supplier of crop input products for row crop and horticulture producers, is searching for a Row Crop Sales Agronomist.\r\n\r\n\t \r\n\r\n\tThe Row Crop Sales Agronomist will complement and build on the existing row crop business in Ontario by establishing business relationships with customers and identify new opportunities.\r\n\r\n\t \r\n\r\n\tRESPONSIBILITIES:\r\n\r\n\t\r\n\t\tBuild on the organizations existing sales program\r\n\t\r\n\t\tEstablish a sound business relationship with customers\r\n\t\r\n\t\tMaintain and identify new sales opportunities with row crop growers\r\n\t\r\n\t\tDevelopment of individual grower crop plans, providing innovation and agronomic solutions maximize grower returns\r\n\t\r\n\t\tCoordinate customer requests and sales with operations staff to ensure requirements are met\r\n\t\r\n\t\tConduct in-field scouting of weeds, insects & diseases\r\n\t\r\n\t\tWork with industry partners to run field-scale trials for new products & seed\r\n\t\r\n\t\tReview and oversee the collection of Customer Receivables\r\n\t\r\n\t\tWillingness to learn and work with a wide variety row crop processor’s\r\n\r\n\r\n\t \r\n\r\n\tDESIRED PROFILE:\r\n\r\n\t\r\n\t\tA post secondary education, diploma, or degree in Agriculture/Marketing\r\n\t\r\n\t\tAgricultural experience, particularly in the row crop field\r\n\t\r\n\t\tAgronomic sales experience (3 years preferred)\r\n\t\r\n\t\tCertified Crop Advisor designation would be considered an asset\r\n\t\r\n\t\tWillingness to work flexible hours including evening & weekends as required\r\n\t\r\n\t\tAbility to work in cross-functional teams across the Lakeside business structure\r\n\t\r\n\t\tExcellent interpersonal, communication, organizational and problem-solving skills\r\n\t\r\n\t\tComprehensive understanding of Microsoft software\r\n\t\r\n\t\tPlan, present, and organize customer meeting and plot demonstration days\r\n\t\r\n\t\tValid G Driver’s license & willingness to provide driver’s abstract\r\n\t\r\n\t\tAbility to lift & carry up to 60lbs as needed\r\n\r\n
