As we continue to grow, we are hiring a full-time employee to join our team as a remote Recruiting Consultant. This role is a W-2 position offering a base salary plus bonus compensation plan.
In this role, you will:
- Collaborate closely with clients to recruit top talent for professional and executive positions
- Ensure a seamless hiring process by sourcing passive candidates, conducting interviews, and leading client meetings
- Take pride in working on exclusive contracts, representing our clients under their company name throughout the search
- Act as a trusted, strategic talent advisor, playing a key role in shaping their workforce and driving success
Prior recruiter or talent acquisition experience is not required, as we offer a comprehensive internal training program. If you bring client management, business development, and/or sales experience, you could be a great fit.
Our current recruiting team brings diverse experience, including backgrounds in inside sales, client support, account management, and business development.

Our Ideal Hire Brings
- Experience in the agriculture or horticulture industry in more than one sector (crop inputs, sales, agronomy, livestock, animal nutrition, genetics, seed, ornamentals, farming, or any other sector of ag)
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Experience managing customer expectations and adapting to a customer’s changing needs
- Openness to express ideas and opinions while collaborating on team projects - our best ideas come from within
- Ability to work from home and within traditional business hours
Our current team comes from diverse professional backgrounds, including inside sales, client support, account management, and business development.
Your Focus Areas
- Work closely with clients to understand job requirements, company culture, competencies, and desired skills
- Strategically source candidates by reviewing hundreds of resumes weekly, utilizing a range of online tools, software systems, and available resources
- Maintain strong relationships with candidates and clients; set and follow through with clear communication and expectations
- Conduct in-depth interviews and competency evaluations (40% of your time)
- Serve as a subject matter expert on job market and candidate behavioral trends, while continuously expanding your knowledge of the food and agriculture industry
- Adhere to recruiting SOPs and maintain accurate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS)
- Focus on client management - building and maintaining strong relationships, not selling or prospecting for new clients
