Job DescriptionPosition OverviewThe Technician I Maintenance is accountable to repair and maintain production and facility equipment according to established safety predictive and productive maintenance procedures to support the achievement of the siteâs business goals and objectives.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform routine maintenance on plant equipment building interior and exterior.Maintain computerized preventative maintenance systemMaintain current and in-depth knowledge of all safety policies and standards related to position. Work in a safe manner and recognizes unsafe situations take appropriate action to ensure safety of self and others in building.Assist with plant activities as requiredWhat is expected of you and others at this levelHas basic skills in an analytical or scientific method or operational processWorks within clearly defined standard operations procedures and or scientific methods and adheres to quality guidelinesWorks with close supervisionMinimum Qualifications & SkillsHigh School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred0-2 yearsâ relevant experience requiredPipe welding experiencePhysical Requirements and Working EnvironmentMust be able to stand/sit for an extended period of timeAbility to frequently lift/push/pull up to 60 poundsMust be able to climb/stoop/kneel at heights up to 100 feetWorks indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions and temperaturesWorking conditions could include: dust fumes moderate noise and uneven surfacesThis job description is intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed.
