CVS Manager - Lewisburg, OH
The Site CVS Manager is the single point of contact who leads and integrates the commissioning, start-up and validation process for the major capital projects at the plant. This includes site operational and technical execution by the site CVS team and through engaging teams across multiple shifts to ensure that quality products are safely manufactured in sanitary conditions following start-up. The Site CVS Manager is responsible for efficiently and effectively managing the project within cost goals and producing sufficient quantities to meet our customers’ demands with engaged associates. As required, the Site CVS Manager will act as the sole authority over all plant assets and activities during periods of Plant Manager absence.
What are we looking for?
Minimum
- Bachelor's Degree AND/OR
- 5+ years experience in a manufacturing environment with experience in project management and CVS experience for a major or complicated process
- Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated presentation skills
- Demonstrated skills in leadership and learning agility
- Experience and/or knowledge across multiple business functions desired
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Software
- Successful completion of a drug and background screen
Preferred
- Master's Degree
- Understanding of Capital Appropriation Budget (CAB)
- Strong analytical and problem solving
- Comprehensive understanding of the CVS process, lean thinking methodology and their application to the site environment
- Knowledge of Mars quality systems and lean manufacturing principles
- Experience across multiple business functions
- Strong working knowledge of manufacturing, warehousing and engineering functions in a food processing/distribution facility
What will be your key responsibilities?
The single point of contact for the Site Director as the site lead for startup activities including coordination of resources, collaboration with the global and regional engineering teams, leading cross-functional decision-making teams concerning lean implementation project activities, developing execution plans for the implementation early management concepts, creating standard operating procedures and maximizing the operational effectiveness of the supply chain for major projects.
Responsible for managing the risk by preparing robust Commissioning, Validation, Start-Up plans in a timely manner, coordinating resources for training, as well as delivering safety, quality and operational procedures for the equipment following installation and prior to start-up. This includes responsibility for meeting TRS, and waste commitments stated in the projects.
