Job Description: Our client is seeking an experienced Small Animal Night Veterinary Surgeon to join their busy, purpose-built 24-hour hospital in Camberwell, South London. This role is ideal for someone with at least three years’ UK experience and a genuine passion for emergency and out-of-hours medicine. You’ll take responsibility for all overnight care, working sole charge much of the time, supported by a skilled night nursing team.
In this position, your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering high standards of emergency and critical care throughout the night
- Communicating clearly with clients about patient status and treatment plans
- Maintaining accurate case handovers for daytime teams
- Ensuring compliance with practice policies and regulatory standards
- Providing mentorship and guidance to night nurses and support staff
