Job Description: Our client is seeking a dedicated Mixed Animal Veterinarian to join their progressive practice in Fort St. John, British Columbia. This role offers a varied caseload with approximately 75% small animal medicine and surgery and 25% large animal work focusing on beef cattle and equine. It provides an exciting opportunity to blend companion animal care with herd health and equine practice in a supportive team environment.
In this position, your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering preventative and emergency care across small animals, beef cattle, and equine cases
- Performing diagnostics, treatments, and surgical procedures confidently across a range of species
- Providing herd health management, reproductive work, and client education for large animal clients
- Collaborating with a skilled team of veterinarians, technicians, and support staff
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of clinical standards and client service
