Your
missions :
Our Legal Department based in Paris is looking for a Legal Director for the Europe/Middle East/Africa region with at least 12 years of experience and strong management skills.
The Legal Director will lead a team of 7 to 8 lawyers based in Paris and Libourne (at the head office in Gironde) and will also be called upon to directly manage complex cases such as litigation and the negotiation of licensing and business development agreements. The team is supported by 2/3 interns on a permanent basis (law student profiles).
The work mainly focuses on :
- negotiating transactions and drafting a wide variety of contracts with significant commercial law, intellectual property, and competition law implications,
- managing any related litigation,
- providing advice.
Your
profile :
You have a master's degree in business law/competition law and distribution and/or intellectual property law.
You have at least 12 years' experience in a similar role in an international environment or law firm. You have proven management experience.
You have experience in negotiating and drafting industrial property rights licenses (patents, technologies, know-how), and in managing litigation, which you will handle directly.
Fluent in written and spoken English, and good at managing cultural differences;
You are comfortable with new technologies and digital tools in the context of the digital transformation of Ceva's Legal Department (CLM & Artificial Intelligence).
You are dynamic by nature and recognized for your precision, organizational skills, responsiveness, ability to take initiative, and excellent interpersonal skills.
